Triumph Needle: UK Support, Sales, and Service for SONOTRONIC Ultrasonic Welding Systems
SONOTRONIC develop and produce special machines, standard machines, assemblies components for the processing of plastics. Working with automotive exteriors, automotive interiors, food packaging, technical textiles, filters and plastic assembly.
Standard Machines
iSONIC ECO
A range of versatile and proven ultrasonic machines which allow for simple tool change over, fast set up and high process reliability.
Applications include automotive trim, electronic components, sealing blister pack, toys, filters, masks, thermosplastic spot welding and many more.
Customised Machines
iSONIC CM
Special machines and automated production lines for the industrial processing of plastics. For cutting, riveting and embosiing using ultrasonics and can be integrated with transport systems or gluing units. The machines can incorporate rotary tables, swivel frames or sliding tables for loading of components.
Applications include door panel assembly, instrument panel, steering column trim, headlight lenses, wheel arch cover, punching parking sensors, punching medical implants, punching sound insulation, hot plate riveting, infrared riveting and many more.
Ultrasonic Assemblies
iSONIC WAVE
Individual ultrasonic assemblies for integration into existing machinery for sealing and cutting within the packaging industry, food industry (ex cutting of cakes, pies chocolate and cheese) and textile industries for edge trimming of tapes and fabrics.
Components
iSONIC PULSE
A complete range of spare parts and comonents manufactured in our own wokshops in Germany.
Generators:
Converters:
- A 20kHz frequency will give up to 4.0kW of power.
- A 30kHz frequency will give up to 2.0kW of power.
- A 35kHz frequency will give up to 1.2kW of power.
Boosters:
Placed between the converter and the sonotrode the booster will amplify the vibration from the converter to accurately control the energy applied to the material / plastic being processed. The booster also incorporates as soundless retaining ring to protect the entire machine from vibration. They can be manufactured from Titanium or Aluminium across 5 ratios, 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:2.5 & 1:3.
Sonotrodes:
The sonotrode delivers the vibration to the workpiece and is tailored made to the individual application. They can be designed for welding, cut & seal, riveting, embossing, punching and cutting.
Anvils:
Precisely manufactured surfaces that work as a counter bearing on the opposite side of the plastic / material to give the seam pattern of the final piece during the welding process.
Nests:
Form bound counter bearings for exact positioning of the work piece.
